Ms. Shea remarked at the meeting, "We cannot trust a group that in the past held Americans hostage and has a long history of sheltering terrorist groups."

She also warned that the security threats emanating from Afghan soil remain a cause for concern and emphasized that the United States is worried about the cross-border activities of ISIS-Khorasan in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

She urged the Taliban to take decisive action against ISIS and prevent Afghanistan from becoming a haven for terrorist groups.

It is worth noting that the UN Security Council meeting was held yesterday to assess the situation in Afghanistan and the security threats posed by the activities of terrorist groups in the country.
