Unexploded Shell Blast in Parwan Injures Four Children

The incident occurred on Friday afternoon (January 24) in the "Sufi Khil" area of Shinwari district.

According to the sources, three girls and one boy, all under ten years of age, were injured in the explosion. The blast was caused by an unexploded shell left behind from past conflicts.

The injured children have been transferred to Parwan Provincial Hospital for treatment.

This comes at a time when landmines and unexploded ordnance continue to pose a serious threat to citizens in many provinces across the country. According to reports, children are the most frequent victims of such incidents.
