Zan News - Zabul: Three people were killed and 15 others were injured when a type 404 passenger bus overturned on the Kabul-Kandahar highway in Zabul province.

The incident occurred on Saturday evening (May 25) in the "Bryam Manda" area of Sahfa district, Zabul province.

Zabihullah Jawhar, a spokesman for the Taliban police command in Zabul, said that a woman and two men were killed in the incident.

It is worth noting that the Kabul-Kandahar highway is one of the most accident-prone routes in Afghanistan.

This highway had been destroyed in the past during the Taliban's multi-year battles with previous governments and as a result of the group's mine laying, and parts of it have now been rebuilt.
