Border Challenges and Deteriorating Conditions

Reports indicate that the Taliban forces attempted to set up a new security post along the border area, but the Pakistani forces opposed it and halted the process. Following this incident, the situation at the border became even more tense.

The closure of the Torkham border has not only caused difficulties for travelers but has also completely halted commercial activities. Traders have suffered losses amounting to millions of rupees, and trucks loaded with goods have been stopped on both sides.
