Zan News: Local sources in Badghis province report that the Taliban have banned the publication of images of living beings in this province.
According to these sources, the Taliban's Department of Information and Culture in Badghis instructed media outlets and publishing officials today, Tuesday (October 22), to refrain from publishing images of living beings from now on.
The sources state that the Taliban have advised media outlets to use boards and still images, such as buildings and landscapes related to the topic, instead of images of living beings.
The Department of Information and Culture in Badghis clarified that this order is according to the law of "Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice" endorsed that by the Taliban governor in Badghis.
It is noteworthy that capturing images of living beings is considered a crime under the Taliban's law of "Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice."
Recently, during visits to Khost, Nangarhar, and Laghman provinces, the acting ministers of Higher Education and Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice of the Taliban also did not allow media outlets to take photographs.
Additionally, the Taliban's Ministry of Higher Education recently deleted all images and videos related to its activities and instead used images of buildings and symbols.
