Taliban: Landmine Explosion in Badakhshan Kills Three Children

According to local Taliban officials in Badakhshan, the incident took place on Friday, April 18, in the village of Teezab, Baharak district.

Ehsanullah Kamgar, spokesperson for the Taliban police command in Badakhshan, stated that the children were between 9 and 14 years old, and the health condition of the three injured children is reported to be critical.

It is worth noting that unexploded ordnance from past wars remains a serious threat to civilians, especially children, in various parts of Afghanistan and continues to claim lives.
