Zan News: The Republican Women’s Network strongly condemned the shooting of 14 residents of Daikundi in an armed attack in this province.

In a statement published on Friday (14 September), the network said, “This is not the first time that Hazara compatriots have been targeted and brutally martyred. This tragic incident once again showed that the Taliban are enemies of the unity and solidarity of Afghanistan’s ethnic groups.”

The statement added, “The Taliban claim that security is under their control throughout the country, but these serial killings that occur under their rule, with no individual or entity held accountable, cannot ignore the involvement of this group in these crimes.”

The Republican Women’s Network called on the United Nations and human rights organizations to investigate this armed attack and make the results public.

The network also urged “major powers” to refrain from engaging with the Taliban and to stand with the oppressed and defenseless people of Afghanistan to end these crimes and genocides in the country.

It is worth mentioning that in an armed attack that took place on Thursday (12 September) in the border area between Ghor and Daikundi, 14 residents of Daikundi were killed and six others were injured. The ISIS group claimed responsibility for this attack, and the Taliban also condemned it.
