Fawzia Koofi Wins the 2024 Asian Women Achievement Award

Zan News: Fawzia Koofi, a former member of Afghanistan's House of Representatives, has won the 2024 "Asian Women Achievement Award" for her work in women's rights after the Taliban takeover.

The award ceremony took place on Thursday, June 6, in London.

This award has been given annually for the past 25 years to Asian women who have been active in the United Kingdom.

Previously, in 2022, Humaira Rezai from Afghanistan won this award for her human rights activities.
