According to a local source, this child, named Shaukat, son of Babrak, disappeared on Friday from the village of "Barine" in the Sorkh Rod district of this province.

The body of this child was found on Monday (July 22) in a maize field near the same village. The source added that various parts of the child's body were injured with knife stabs.

Family members of the child told the media that they had no personal enmity with anyone, and Shaukat had left home after receiving a phone call and was then killed. They also stated that signs of violence were observed on Shaukat's body, indicating he had been stabbed with a knife.

It is noteworthy that mysterious murders have increased in the country after the Taliban's takeover in Afghanistan, with even children not spared from these incidents.

A few days ago, a 10-year-old child was also shot and killed by an armed Taliban member in the fifth district of Jalalabad city, the center of Nangarhar province, for collecting broken tree branches.
