A Woman and a Man Arrested in Kabul by the Taliban

On Monday (18 November), the ministry released a statement on the social media platform X, stating that the individuals were arrested in the fifth district of Kabul city.

According to the Ministry of Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, after initial investigations, the two individuals have been handed over to the Taliban's judicial and legal authorities.

It is noteworthy that agents from the Ministry of Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice have previously arrested individuals in Kabul on charges of "moral corruption" and "illicit relations."

Since the enactment of the law on Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice by Hibatullah Akhundzada, the Taliban leader, incidents of similar arrests have increased in Kabul.
