A Teenage Girl in Herat Commits Suicide Due to Domestic Violence

Zan News: Local sources in Herat province have reported that a teenage girl in this province has committed suicide.
Sources said on Sunday (October 13) that this girl, who was 17 years old, hanged herself two days ago in the Farsi district of Herat.
The sources cited domestic violence as the reason for her suicide.
The Taliban in Herat have not yet commented on this matter.
It is worth noting that about a month ago, another young girl in Herat committed suicide due to forced marriage. Since the Taliban's return to power, the suicide rate among young girls has significantly increased.
