25-Year-Old Woman Killed by Her Husband in Herat

According to the sources, the woman was killed by her husband with knife wounds on Sunday night (January 5) in the "Pulwari" village of Oba district.

Local sources have cited family problems as the motive for the murder.

Taliban security officials in Herat have not commented on this incident yet.

This incident comes just after another report from Helmand province, where a man killed his wife due to what he described as her "bad cooking."

It is worth noting that under the Taliban's rule in Afghanistan, cases of femicides have increased, with many of these murders being attributed to domestic violence.
