Zan News - Nangarhar: The Taliban killed a 10-year-old child in Jalalabad, the capital of Nangarhar province.

Local sources in Nangarhar reported that this incident occurred on Friday evening (July 19).

According to the sources, the child's name was "Taha."

The sources added that Taha was collecting wood and firewood from trees after the storms in Nangarhar when the Taliban objected to his actions. However, when Taha returned to collect wood and firewood for the second time, Taliban fighters shot and killed him.

Sources say that the child's father's name is Obaid, and they are residents of Nangarhar.

The Taliban have not yet commented on this incident.

Taha's killing comes as recent rain, floods, and storms in Nangarhar have caused significant casualties and financial losses, displacing many residents of the province.
