FC Barcelona Femení Wins Champions League Title for Second Consecutive Season

In the final match of the competition, held on Saturday night (May 25) at the San Mamés Stadium in Spain, the Blaugranas won 2-0.

The first half of the match ended in a scoreless draw. However, Barcelona dominated the second half and took the lead in the 63rd minute through Aitana Bonmatí. In the dying minutes of the game, Alexia Putellas scored the second goal for her team.

With this victory, Barcelona has won the Champions League for the third time. They were also champions of this competition last season and have the experience of winning it in 2021.

It is worth noting that the Lyon women's football team is the most successful team in the competition with eight titles.
