Bodies of a Woman and Her Daughter Found in Ghor

According to the sources, the two bodies were discovered on Saturday, June 8th.

The woman and her seven-year-old daughter had disappeared from their home in the same village about two months ago.

Sources say that the kidnappers first killed and then buried the two.

So far, the perpetrators of this incident and their motives have not been identified, and local Taliban officials have not commented on the matter.

This comes at a time when mysterious killings of women have increased unprecedentedly since the Taliban took over the country, and the lack of women's rights institutions has meant that such cases are not being seriously investigated.
