About Us

Zan TV was launched in 2017 as the first women-led television station in Afghanistan — created by and for Afghan women. At a time when women were often excluded from media and public life, Zan TV broke barriers by producing powerful programs on education, health, politics, and culture.

Our Story

After the political changes of 2021, much of our team was forced into exile — but our mission did not stop. From inside and outside Afghanistan, we continue to report, educate, and advocate for Afghan women through digital platforms and social media.
